Petro Rabigh resumes operations in all units after maintenance

Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) resumed operations at all utilities and production units as of today, April 30, after completing the periodic maintenance successfully, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

The relevant financial impact, which cannot be accurately determined at present, is expected to appear on financials for Q1 and Q2 of FY2020, it added.

 

Any updates regarding this matter will be disclosed in a timely manner, the statement also said.

 

On February 27, Petro Rabigh said it would shut down its operations as well as production units for 60-day regular maintenance works starting March 1, 2020, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

The company reported a net loss of SAR 1.797 billion for the first quarter of 2020 on the complete shutdown of its complex.
