Allianz SF kick starts rights trading, subscription today

Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Co. (Allianz SF) kicks off subscription to new shares and rights trading today, June 22, to raise its capital from SAR 200 million to SAR 600 million.

 

Rights trading will end on Monday, June 29, while the subscription to new shares will close on Thursday, July 2.

 

The insurer will offer 40 million shares, at SAR 10 each, and each shareholder is entitled to subscribe to 2 rights for every share held.

 

Rights holders are entitled to subscribe to the new shares partially or fully on a pro rata basis. The remaining shares and share fractions, if any, will be reoffered to institutional investors.

 

In case of under subscription, the financial advisor, lead manager and underwriter, ANB Invest, will subscribe to these rights.

 

On June 16, Allianz SF shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation to increase the company’s capital from SAR 200 million to SAR 600 million through a rights issue, Argaam reported.
