JAZADCO, Estidamah sign agreement to develop joint agricultural practices

Jazan Energy and Development Co. (JAZADCO) signed today, Nov. 11, a non-binding agreement with the National Center for Research and Development in Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah), according to a bourse statement.

 

The three-year agreement, which will expire on Nov. 10, 2023, is aimed to bolster mutual cooperation in the field of developing protected agriculture, as well as outline future cooperation to serve the Kingdom's agricultural sector through applied scientific studies and research.

 

Furthermore, the agreement targets the transfer and nationalization of modern technologies, follow up on global developments in the field of agriculture, while capitalizing on the relations and agreements of the two sides with regional and international centers and organizations.

 

It also entails the exchange of technical and economic consultations in the agricultural field according to the respective available capabilities of both sides, in addition to achieving efficiency in water and energy usage.

 

According to JAZADCO, the signing of the cooperation agreement is aimed to develop its agricultural practices, develop its capabilities and raise its production efficiency, in line with the company's vision and ambitions towards the agricultural sector.
