Saudi Fisheries Co. (Alasmak) will adopt electronic voting as of Jan. 23, on the agenda items of its ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on Jan. 26, according to a bourse filing.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The company’s shareholders will vote on the formation of the audit committee during the OGM.
