Takween says deputy chairman resigns

Takween Advanced Industries Co.'s board of directors accepted today, March 22, 2021 the resignation of Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, from his post as the company’s deputy chairman (non-executive board member) and the audit committee chairman and member, effective as of today.

 

Al-Tuwaijri tendered his resignation due to personal reasons, Takween said in a bourse filing.

 

The board of directors appointed independent board member Saleh bin Hassan Al-Afaliq as deputy chairman, effective as of today. He was also appointed as the audit committee chairman.

 

The company also appointed Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Sakran as an audit committee member, starting from March 22, until the end of the board of directors' current term on January 20, 2023.

The appointments are subject to the approval of the company's ordinary general assembly, in its upcoming meeting.
