Thimar EGM approves change of auditors on request of 5% shareholders

National Agricultural Marketing Co. (Thimar) shareholders approved the board’s recommendation to change the company’s auditor (Al-Azm, Al-Sudairi, Al-Sheikh and their partners - accountants and legal auditors) at the request of 5% of the shareholders, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Oct 12.

 

They approved the appointment of Osama Abdullah Al-Khuraiji & Partner Company as new auditor, who will examine, review and audit the financial statements for Q3 and FY2019, as well as all quarters of 2020 and 2021, according to a bourse filing today, Oct. 13.

 

Shareholders also gave their nod to the formation of the audit committee, determining its tasks, working controls, and remunerations for its members for the new session, starting from the assembly’s meeting date until May 13, 2023.

 

In addition, they approved amending the company’s articles of association
