Emaar EC appoints Assim Alsuhaibani as Chairman, Jamal Thaniah as Vice Chairman

Emaar The Economic City’s (Emaar EC) board of directors approved on Oct. 25, to appoint new Chairman and Vice-Chairman, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

In addition, Emaar EC’s BoD decided to re-form the nominations and remunerations committee and the executive committee.

 

Accordingly, Assim Alsuhaibani was appointed as the new Chairman and Jamal bin Thaniah as the Vice Chairman, starting from Oct. 25, until the end of the current board session on Sept 25, 2023.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Emaar EC recently announced a change in the board membership as a result of the completion of the share subscription agreement that the company and a number of its major shareholders (Dayim Modern Real Estate Management Co., ME Royal Capital LLC, ME Partners Capital LLC, ME Strategic Investments LLC, ME Holdings LLC, and Emaar Middle East LLC) concluded with the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
