Aslak shareholders to vote on 2021 financials on March 1

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) shareholders will vote on financial statements as well as the board and auditors’ reports for 2021, during the ordinary general meeting that will be held on March 1, according to a bourse statement.

 

They will also discuss appointing an external auditor to review and audit financials for Q2, Q3, Q4 2022, and Q1 2023, in addition to the contracts concluded with relevant parties.

 

Shareholders will consider discharging board members from liability for 2021, and disbursing SAR 900,000 as remunerations for board members for the same year.

 

The agenda items include amending article (8 - Paragraph 1 - b) of the board remuneration policy, and authorizing the board to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2022. They also comprise disbursing SAR 175,000 as remunerations for the audit committee members for 2021, as well as forming the audit committee for the three-year session that will begin on April 10, 2022.

 

Shareholders will also vote on electing board members for the three-year term that will begin on April 10.
