Theeb Rent a Car Co. will start on May 18 the electronic voting on the agenda items of its ordinary general meeting (OGM) that will be held on May 22, according to a bourse filing.

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through the Tadawulaty system, in line with the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The company’s shareholders will vote the company’s financial statements, as well as the board and auditor’s reports for 2021.

They will also discuss the appointment of an external auditor to review and audit financials for Q2, Q3, and Q4 2022, as well as Q1 2023, along with voting on disbursing SAR 400,000 as remuneration for the board of directors and SAR 200,000 for the audit committee for 2021.

Other items on the agenda include voting on delegating the board of directors with the OGM powers for one year from the shareholders’ approval date or until the end of the board term, whichever is earlier.
