GAS awarded SAR 108 mln contract by Advanced Polyolefins

Gas Arabian Services Co. (GAS) announced today, Sept. 13, winning a contract worth SAR 107.79 million (excluding VAT) by Advanced Polyolefins Industry Co., according to a bourse filing.

 

Under the contract, procurement and construction of gas and propane pipelines will be provided to Advanced Polyolefins, including tie-in's and metering skids, GAS added, noting that there are no related parties.

 

This is the third contract to be awarded to the company after its debut on Nomu – Parallel Market in February. It signed on March 27, a SAR 75.43 million contract with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) for the supply and construction of a gas network at the PlasChem Park. On Aug. 23, the company was awarded a purchase order worth SAR 24 million from Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), to provide support for Petrokemya plant maintenance service for one year, according to Argaam's data.
