Al-Etihad inks comprehensive auto insurance deal with Abdul Latif Jameel Finance

Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. signed today, Jan. 18, an agreement with Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance Co. to provide comprehensive auto insurance coverage for the latter’s vehicles financed through its lease financing program.

 

The agreement is valid for one year from the signing date, the insurer said in a Tadawul statement, expecting the contract revenues to exceed 5% of its gross written premiums (GWPs) for 2021.

 

The relevant financial impact is slated to reflect as of H1 2023. However, the impact cannot be determined accurately as insurance claims differ from month to month.

 

There are no related parties, it added.
