Petro Rabigh restarts ethane cracker after maintenance

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) resumed operations at its ethane cracker unit after completing the maintenance activities, it said in a filing to Tadawul.

 

The relevant financial impact cannot be accurately estimated at present and is expected to appear in Q1 2023 results.

 

Petro Rabigh earlier announced that it will halt its ethane cracker for nearly 20 days, as of March 1, in order to carry out maintenance activities that will enhance the plant’s reliability, according to data available with Argaam.
