Maaden elects board members for new 3-year term

Shareholders of Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) approved the election of board members for a three-year term beginning Oct. 25, 2023, during the ordinary general meeting on Sept 25, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Elected board members include Yasir AlRumayyan, Khalid Almodaifer, Richard O’Brien, Sofia Bianchi, Ganesh Kishore, Mohammed AlQahtani, Robert Wilt, Ahmed Alhakbani, Abdallah bin Juma’ah, Nabilah AlTunisi, and, Manar Almoneef.

The statement also added that shareholders approved the audit committee's formation, terms of reference, work controls, and remuneration for the new term.

Candidates are:

1) Khalid bin Saleh Almodaifer (non-executive member)

2) Mike Cheng (non-board director)

3) Manar Almoneef (independent)
