Sure wins SAR 16.3M project from Ministry of Commerce

Sure Global Tech Co. was awarded a project to develop the operating model, governance model, mechanisms, and technical systems for monitoring and tracking the entry and circulation of goods and products in the market by the Ministry of Commerce.

The 24-month project has an estimated value of SAR 16.3 million, including value-added tax (VAT), Sure said in a statement to Tadawul.

The project includes development of indicators to monitor product availability in the Kingdom and analyze the gaps, in addition to developing an electronic system to monitor and track the entry and circulation of goods in the market and price differences across the country’s regions.

The project scope also notes building the capacity of the Consumer Protection Agency and transferring knowledge in data-based supervision and monitoring in the Kingdom's regions.

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement said, adding that the project was awarded on Jan. 31 and notification was received on Feb. 1.
