Saudi Cable says unable to publish Q2 2023 financials on time

Saudi Cable Co. announced its inability to disclose its preliminary financial results for the period ended June 30, 2023, within the specified deadline as the auditing process has not been finalized yet.

 

The financials are expected to be posted on Feb. 21, 2024, according to a Tadawul statement.

 

The company is still working on the preliminary financial statements for Q3/9M 2023, expecting them to be announced no later than March 14, 2024.

 

The procedures for suspending trading of listed securities will continue to apply according to the listing rules approved by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) dated Jan. 30, 2019, and announced on Tadawul on March 25, 2019.

 

The Saudi cable producer exerts efforts to publish the delayed financials and ensures the stock resumes trading as soon as possible.

 

CEO Nael Fayez had earlier told Argaam that the company is likely to announce its Q2 2023 financial statements on Feb. 15, after which it will announce the results of the third quarter.
