HRSD Ministry plans to launch 300 new automated services by 2024-end

Ahmed Al Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD)

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) Ahmed Al Rajhi said the ministry intends to launch 300 new automated services by the end of 2024, according to a ministerial statement.

The ministry’s digital transformation journey began four years ago, with the aim of reducing the attendance of beneficiaries at its branches and instead serving them from their places. It has enhanced the digital transformation in its services by providing more than 1,000 digital services that are 80% automized, Al Rajhi said.

As part of the third edition of LEAP 2024 tech conference, the minister launched a number of digital products and services aimed at enhancing the ministry’s digital transformation and facilitating the services provided to its beneficiaries.

This included a set of digital products supporting the ministry’s national platform for rehabilitation and social guidance, which aims to provide an electronic guide to family counseling centers and counselors with evaluations of their beneficiaries, and support those with social qualifications by providing electronic services for issuing and managing licenses, in addition to the ease and speed of dealing with family protection cases.

The minister also launched the empowerment service on the support and social protection platform, which targets empowering and qualifying social security beneficiaries able to work through training that suits their academic qualifications and skills.

Furthermore, the new services included facility profile management services, which aim to facilitate the procedures for doing business to become automated and integrated between relevant authorities via the Qiwa platform. This is besides improving the beneficiaries’ experiences and maintaining the continuity of commercial entities through the integration with the 13 Saudi government agencies, the minister explained.
