Tourism Development Fund supports projects worth SAR 40B: Director General

The Tourism Development Fund is currently supporting projects worth SAR 40 billion, which will be reflected in the impact and the extent of the effectiveness and success of these projects in the future, said Executive Director General Prince Saud Al Saud.

 

The fund aims to enable the private sector in the tourism field to advance industry-related projects, to which it provides financial and non-financial products, said the top executive, in an interview with Argaam on the sidelines of the Future Hospitality Summit.

He added that the fund provides a number of financial and non-financing services and products, in addition to preserving its capital and ensuring the success of these projects.

 

It began providing non-financial services, represented in training courses, development programs, and pre-financing programs, in addition to qualifying these projects to take the space required for their success.

 

Furthermore, the fund provides business accelerators, joint workspaces, and general training courses in various fields of tourism, in addition to training camps that create a fertile environment for tourism projects, he underlined.

 

The top executive also indicated that partnerships with the private sector is vital, adding that the fund concluded partnerships with various parties such as the Charisma Group, which operates in the entertainment sector for children and families.
