Go inks long-term data service deal with Saudi Telecom

05/06/2014 Argaam

Etihad Atheeb Telecom (GO) signed indefeasible rights of use agreement with Saudi Telecom (STC) whereby GO will use 30,000 access points for 15 years, the contract’s duration.

Go said the agreement will enhance its competitive edge and geographical reach, and in turn its revenues.

Go cancelled last month its rights of use agreement with a Mobily’s subsidiary, citing technical and logistical challenges the company could not handle, and picked STC as a replacement.
