Yamamah Cement gets permits to mine for limestone, clay and sand

Yamamah Cement Co has obtained government permits to mine for limestone, clay and sand in three areas outside of the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

 

Riyadh-based Yamamah, which is 14 percent owned by the government, produces 6.3 million tons of clicker a year, according to Argaam. It was founded in 1961.
