Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) said on Wednesday that it has extended unscheduled maintenance at its Hydrogen Production Unit (HPU) by four days to June 13.

The unit was scheduled to resume operations today.

The company said in a statement to Tadawul that it will assess additional financial impact of the four-day delay at a later time.

Petro Rabigh had started emergency maintenance at the unit on May 29 following a leakage at its furnace pipeline.

Last week, the company said that it expected about SAR 52 million financial impact from the unexpected production halt.
