Saudi Ceramic starts trial run of red brick plant

Saudi Ceramic Co. started on Monday trial operations at its red bricks plant, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

 

During the trial phase, machinery and equipment at the facility will be individually tested, followed by a full line test. Different raw materials will be tried to determine the best sources to be used in commercial production.

 

Although there has been a delay to commercial output, the impact is limited and will not weigh negatively on financial results, the company added.

 

The trial phase will continue until the end of January 2016.
