Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co.’s (GO) lawsuits against the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) have been postponed until June 30, 2019, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

During the hearing of case number (9797) on May 15, CITC has requested more time to respond to the company’s memorandum to the court, the statement said.

While the other case number (9083) that was filed by the company against the commission, was postponed by the court to the same date for deliberation and sentencing.

GO filed a lawsuit in August 2018, seeking to reverse the CITC’s decision in May to reject the telco’s request for a unified license. The license allows operators to offer integrated telecom services including landline.
