Saudi Steel Pipe Co. (SSP)

Saudi Steel Pipe Co. narrowed its net loss after Zakat and tax to SAR 16.6 million for the first half of 2021, from SAR 44.8 million in the same period last year.

The company attributed the drop in losses to reporting a gross profit of SAR 7.18 million in H1 2021 against a gross loss of SAR 10.43 million a year earlier. It also cited lower administrative expenses mainly due to the reduction of structural costs and service indemnity costs.

Lower finance charges and a reversal of trade receivables impairments were also behind the decline in losses.
