Southern Province Cement Co. (SPCC) reported a 26% drop in 2021 net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 450 million, compared to SAR 609 million a year earlier.

The lower profit was attributed to a decline in sales revenue amid lower volumes, along with higher general and administrative expenses.

 

In Q4 2021, net profit after Zakat and tax declined 32% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 96.6 million.  

 

On a sequential basis, the fourth-quarter net earnings grew by 12% from SAR 83.42 million.
