Dur widens net loss to SAR 8.1 mln in 9M 2021

Dur Hospitality Co. widened its net loss after Zakat and tax to SAR 8.1 million for the first nine months of 2021, from SAR 7.5 million in the same period a year earlier.

The company attributed the increase in net loss to the repercussions of COVID-19 during the whole period, compared to part of the same period of the previous year being affected by the same.

The company narrowed its net loss after Zakat and tax to SAR 6.3 million in Q3 2021, compared to SAR 8.4 million in the same quarter last year, due to the improvement in revenue on improved operation of the company's facilities.

 

On a quarterly basis, the company also widened its losses in Q3 2021 compared to a loss of SAR 3.7 million in Q2 2021.

 

Accumulated losses stood at SAR 6.753 million as of Sept. 30, 2021, representing 0.68% of the company’s SAR 1 billion capital.

 

Total shareholders’ equity reached SAR 1.631 billion at the end of September 2021, declining from SAR 1.684 billion in the same period last year.
