Advanced resumes ops at propylene, PP plants after periodic maintenance

Advanced Petrochemical Co. resumed operations at its polypropylene (PP) and propylene plants on Feb. 27 and March 3, respectively, after the successful completion of all required routine and preventive maintenance.

The maintenance took place in accordance with the occupational safety and health standards approved by the company as per schedule, Advanced said in a statement to Tadawul.

There is no material or significant change in the costs associated with the maintenance activities.

There is no change in the financial impact of the previously announced event, as the impact will show in the first and second quarters of 2024, based on the expected prices of feedstock and PP.

In January, the petrochemical producer announced that its propylene and PP plants will undergo scheduled maintenance as of Feb. 4, Argaam earlier reported.
